I'm at the other end of the spectrum. Right now, it's 75 degrees F here in northeast OK. That's warm for even us, although I have seen it warmer. On the few times we actually get snow accumulations, it generally doesn't stick around long, 2 - 3 days is average.
We need rain, BADLY!!!! The Arkansas River has less than 1,000 cfs most of the time. Normally, we get 12K cfs when both turbines are generating at the dam upstream. The two "city lakes" just north of the town I live in are both down. The smaller of the two is about 1 1/2' low right now, and that has come up a few inches in the past couple weeks. However, the lake just downstream of that is about 5' low, as the main feeder creek for that lake comes in from a different direction.
All small rivers and creeks are really low. Even the big lakes are at least a few feet low.
What we need is a really wet Spring. I just don't know if it's in the cards this year or not.
