I would be in for fall as well. Especially if there is less conflict with other Fish Ins. Who would vote for Chain O Lakes in October?

Bill;
When do the colors change? That would be a good time.
October in Indiana is quite colorful. I doubt we can get this put together for next month but, October 2013 sounds like it may be a good date. Fall is a great time of year in this area. Any other locations suggested besides Chain O Lakes?
October fly fishing in northern Indiana is one of fly fishings best kept secrets. Besides the lakes in the park there are other larger lakes within 30-45 minuts drive from the park that have great fall fishing. Waldron chain to the north, Tri-lakes, Crooked, Big, and Loon to the SW and the Port Mitchel chain to the west. These are the ones I fish, there are others. You need a boat for those lakes. I don't know how late the boat rental in the park stays open in the fall.
I vote for fall also. My brother lives on Little Cedar, which is a part of Tri-lakes. We can "borrow" his pontoon boat and fish that chain. he also has a 14foot Lund and a conoe. I am sure Jack will be able to create a diversion so we can borrow those boats also. I will also bring my canoe for use at the park.

I would be up for the Chain-O-Lakes next year in Oct.
Separate your observations from your preconceptions. See what is, not what you expect.
Sounds like October is a good time. I'll try to contact the chat room and see what we can work out. I am, by no means, the sole owner of something like this and welcome comments, suggestions, and HELP!
Bill;
There were 3 or 4 members in the chat room last night that are interested.
I am interested if my work schedule does not conflict.
