I'm either going to, coming from or thinking about fishing. Jim
Welcome aboard, Scott. I'm in the Tulsa area. There are a few other Okies on this board as well.
I just doubled the end of my fly line over, and using some 10 lbs test power pro braid, whipped the ends together, creating a loop, which is connected loop-to-loop with my furled mono leader. I thought I was being clever, but apparently, I'm not the only one that's thought of this!
Yes, Welcome aboard for sure!! Ask your questions here 'cause thats why we're here! One must be careful about reading about "Fly Fishing" because in the words of Lefty "There is more BS in Fly Fishing than a Kansas feed lot!!"
Hey hey hey...... easy Jack!
The Green Hornet strikes again!!!
I am also a member of the looped end flyline fraternity. I noticed the line I was using yesterday was finished with a piece of shrink tubing over the wraps.
AllenOK, One of the things I figured out about the guy and girls here is it is almost impossible to come up with an idea someone else hasn't tried or isn't using. If you combined all the years of experience here you would probably conclude Adam was a flyfisherman.
Want to hear God laugh? Tell him Your plans!!!
been using these connectors for over 40 years although here getting harder to find.
