These seem to have come close to disappearing. The hen saddles seem widely available, but not the necks.

Most listed are the bizarre warmwater colors, which you can actually find more easily than the duns, gingers or grizzly. I don't know if this means anything but most are also listed at prices over and above the few flyshops that seem to have them.
I haven't seen a shortage in our local shops.

Unless you've some hang-up with Whiting, you may consider Denny at Conranch Hackle or Charlie at Collins Hackle. Just a thought. Ouch! That hurt, lol.

I only see a shortage in Brown capes. I ask my local flyshop to add a couple to his next order, and he gets them in for me.
Just my opinion, but Whiting is the best quality and value. I can get alot more size 16 and 14 hackles off a Whiting than any other producer.
I have no proof or documentation of this. Like I said, it's an opinion.
