Hi all. I had to postpone my exam. Tough to have those things done when you cannot even walk out to your car. Even worse our boy Gary had to have an MRI of his neck to check for a ruptured disc. No ruptured disc but they found a mass on his thyroid. If you all recall many years ago it was because of your prayers that Gary is a cancer survivor.
Chances are it is not cancer but a nodule like I had. Hey may or may not loose his thyroid. Even if it is cancer it is early and most types of thyroid cancer has a very high cure rate.
Facing cut backs at work too. Going to loose my Sunday premium pay soon. Small as it is that little bit pays for my gasoline, barely. Loss of my job is not out of the question but more likely the doctors will disable me for retirement first. We get ever closer to that by the day now.
Test is tentatively rescheduled for Wednesday but we may have to cancel that too. I will keep you all posted. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
Just found this thread. Sorry to hear of Gary's finding, but as you say, hopefully it will come out right in the end. Hoping for all the best in your exams as well. Take care. Keep us posted.
