Whoops! Actually, "entymology" is the study of doofuses who don't check their spelling before posting! It IS entomology! Good spot!

No offense taken. Hate to admit it, but I'm an English teacher, besides! Cosmic payback!

Entomology is the study of insects; etymology is a linguistic study, specifically the history of words.

But this was "e-N-tymology" so I thought it was something I was missing...

Go to InsectNet.com, it is a discussion forum much like this only about entomology (and other invertebrates). If you make an account and browse there, you will find info about collecting and curating a collection. At times the discussions can become downright silly because SOME folks there like to throw around their academic status and their politics, but you can sift through that fairly easily. Also there are a lot of really knowlegable, sincere members who will help anyone figure out just about anything in the entomological realms.

These are all great suggestions! Thank you all for your ideas! I'll try to remember to post with results.

Yes, there is alot of Latin being spoken on that site.
I did not mean to offend. If I did, I apologize. Sometimes the true meaning of a statement gets lost in the text. I should have used an emoticon.
