Most of my WInston Bamboo rods and peerless and hardy reels were bought at garage sales along with my vises and tying equipment. I keep telling my wife I am so lucky to have all this great equipment for less than probably 300 dollars.

One of my greatest fears is that when I die my wife will sell my fishing gear for what I told her I paid for it!!

JC!..You're being unfair. Just put my email address in the deceased's personal belongings with a note that says I'll pay her 150 bucks for ALL of it! (then I'll sell you 1/2 for 2,000 bucks).
