Today is the 14th Anniversary of the start of the "Greatest Fly Fishing and Fly Tying Site" on the WWW...

No advertising, Sponsors only to pay the cost of running the operation.

Fly Anglers sharing their fly patterns, fly fishing stories, and fly fishing knowledge.

Annual Yearly Fish-In's, and later Regional Fish-In's where added.

Just going through all the different themes and areas on FAOL, this is the only site I know that covers just about everything that anyone would ever need to know that is related to fly fishing.....

All of this became possible because of "One Person's Dream", and the Dream became FAOL, give a hand and a thank you to the creator of FAOL.....DEANNA TRAVIS.

Without Deanna, we all would not be here on this site today.....

Yes I need to thank Deanna for this site. I came here in 1998 when I first started fly tying. I had been fly fishing since I was 12 and had tried as a kid to make some poppers but had no actual tying material's, and did catch fish on them, but I learned a lot from this site. I don't post a lot because I don't really know how to express myself that well. FAOL has been my home page for several years and will continue to be in the future. So thank you Deanna and all the people who have contributed to this site for your help.
