Made me smile.
Thank you.
When you arise in the morning, think of what a
precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think,
to enjoy, to love.

Those year pass so quickly, I am glad you have the documented memories to go back to. It doesn't slow down from here.

A most touching post Steve.
A fine looking young man! He must take after his mother?
When you can arrange your affairs to go fishing, forget all the signs, homilies, advice and folklore. JUST GO.
He certainty dose take after his mother, and she deserves most of the credit for his education, health, and well being
she is my compass....
With my boy , it was like reliving my childhood all over...
IMO, the upmost/ most important thing in life, if you have kids is to spend the time with them, give them the love and support
they deserve and need, do the best you can with the resources you have and never give up on them,, and if at all possible support
all their friends and kids in general.. ( resources is not only or even money, it is time spent, ability, mental & physical , emotional being
dose matter )
it is never easy, but no alternative should be considered except what is best for them, period...
Preserving Young Happy Hearts is what it is all about....

PS:
Almost forget , you need to set a good example right off the bat!
This was an opening shot from camp this year to tell moms how much we missed them...

Back when my daughter was a small child, the 3 of us were downtown near the barber shop I used. So we all stopped in for me to get a trim, the barber looked at my daughter and wife sitting together and said "She must get her looks from her dad, mom still has her's." Just saying....
