Folks, I placed a call to JohnR today and left a message, waiting on a reply.

I did make contact with JohnR last week, John ensured the swap box would be in the mail no later then last Friday, well today is Thursday already and Jack Hise hasn't seen the box yet.

I am sorry once again for all the delay in getting this swap started. If I don't hear from JohnR or see the box by this weekend I will start a new box with my materials.

The box has landed!! UPS Overnight!! I have taken out what I want and poperfly is coming over this weekend with the 2nd round labels. The box will be in the mail Monday. I will post a photo of what I have added.

WOW!!.....THE EAGLE HAS LANDED BACK IN SHELBYVILLE!!

I shipped round #1 swap box on Feb 2 and today is April 29 it only took 3 months traveling around the country.......thanks to everyone that shipped the swap box within a few days after receiving it.....thumbs-up to you!!

I need to stress once again.... PLEASE!! ......forward swap box within a couple days after you receive it, I dont want to go through all that mess again. If for some reason you are having a hard time mailing the swap box send me a PM.

Just remember that I will be on vacation until May 16th, so there may be a small delay in the box's travels. Our Swapmeister is aware of my schedule.

Our Post Office got creamed by one of the recent tornadoes, so there may be an extra day or two delay before I get it. Regular mail service has still not been restored yet. I will let you know when it gets here.

Got the box today, but it is too late to mail it back out. I'll send it first thing Monday.

I was just about to order some more wing cutters,but lo and behold, there were some in the box. I took the cutters, some peacock colored mylar, and a few misc feathers. I replaced them with a Glue Gun (for making hot-glue flys), a platform dubbing twister and a large bag of misc. feathers (mostly Macaw, and other stuff for salmon flys).
