    Steve Molcsan,

I see you have the start of a nice rock collection also. Any story behind them?

Best regards, Dave the stone collector.

Funny how rocks collect a memory. I have some too. Rocks seem to last forever.

They are a good thing to have around.

The rocks are very special the larger Granite is very soothing for tired feet at the end
of a long day,,, all are from our camp property near Yosemite.

My socked feet are perched on that rock right now and it feels so darn good
the cold of the stone seems to draw the pain right out of my feet.. no joke good stuff,
kinda funny I have been using these rocks for this soothing propose for years and have not given
it a second thought for a long time.

Guess I kinda take it for Granite, lol

    Thanks for asking.

    Steve

    Footnote:
many a time on the river I will pull my boots off and perch on a stone for a bit...
couldn't even tell you how I got started doing this.. huh
I do know that it dose rejuvenate my tired feet... it's been a river ritual of mine for years

    ----

so now you got me digging under my desk and look what I found:

    know what it is??

Hint has a place to put something in under it right here see: lol

    Need another hint:

I use it at camp around the camp fire sometimes, it is made out of heavy cast iron...

1st person to guess right gets one of our camp tools........ this may be kinda hard
so I will be easy with my determination on who wins.. could go by several names
I will accept any one of them...

    Be safe

    Steve
