    thanks Jeffro...just got hooks after 2 month wait...here is my carpet bombing fleet which will be deployed this week

    Those look great! I tied up some floating blue crabs for trip to FL for the fish-in, but never really used them. I used blue and tan foam for the bodies, rubber bands for the legs and pinchers, and a sharpie marker to mark the carapace underneath. They looked pretty reallistic, just wish I could've had a go at a permit with one.
    Yours look amazing. Your attention to detail is truly impressive, makes all the difference I'm sure. Good luck and be sure to post some pictures!

    I never got to use them...forced into selling, a offer I couldnt refuse...will make more this weekend during the high winds...I have way better idea now and will step it up on the next batch...post pics of your crab please...Jeffro from this board tied up something like what you descibed and sent me several a few yrs ago...I liked them but they were weighted...they dropped like a ton of bricks and to this day I have been trying to get that same effect without copying him...he inlaid feathers on the shell and it was sweet...

    Was the same carpass used in the Crab Apple pattern
    I can't seem ta find the sweet taste of the stream

    I came to realize that after a yr or 2...still yours were blue and they still stick with me...those were way cool
