fishing Iowa March 25

There are a few of us talking about getting together in northeastern IA on the 25th of March to do a little fishing. All of the fish will be winter hold overs. Iowa doesn't start stocking until 4/1. Should make it a little harder to catch these fish. If you live around the area and would like to meet us down there let me know at crt2007@comcast.net

Sorry to take so long to get back to you. I was waiting for a response from a friend to see if he can come also. I am still waiting for his answer, but decided I will go either way. I plan to drive from Mankato, MN that AM, and back home to Mankato that PM. I could meet you stream side, or maybe at the Gander Mountain parking lot in Rochester?

Ironfoot, I'll call you before I leave here so we can both be on the same page. I'm hopeing that some of these other guys are going to make a commitment and come with. With only two weeks to go I'm hopeing. Come on guys let's meet up for some fun and fishing. There is a good website out by the Iowa DNR that talks about the streams. Since all of the fish are winter holdovers it will be interesting to see if we can get them to move to a fly. I'm really looking forward to it. Get to try out my new neoprene waders I got for Christmas. Stay in touch...Craig

flydog, Thanks for the info. Do you have any idea how we go about purchasing a license? I am surprised that Iowa doesn't seem to have internet license purchasing. Do you think a fishin in Marquette would be possible? There is a casino in Prairie du Chuen isn't there? You and Scott know the area is there a place to have camping at a motel or lodge? Let me know, let's talk about this some more. Craig
