Default FAOL is a Happy Drug

FAOL is like a happy drug and you don't realize you are addicted to it until they take it away from you. I am glad the Bulletin Board is back on line and I am waiting for the Chat Room to come back as well.

Being an old, retired guy, who checks this site 4 or 5 times a day, I was having serious withdrawls yesterday. Glad to see the BB is back up.

'Fess up!! How many times per day did you check to see if FAOL was back up? I think I musta looked at least 5-8 times a day...I was hurtin', and no other site could take the pain away.

It was a sad, lonely day (at work) indeed. I checked it 1/2 dozen times.

Spent an hour or so yesterday watching Davie McPhail fly tying videos on YouTube. Wasn't a cure, but it was a pretty neat distraction !!

I had to watch Roy Hyatt and Dave Englebertson tie a few flies. Instructional but not really a good replacement drug.
