I can't say about fly fishing but there's a lot of feed lots in Kansas.

    Wes,
I'm thinking those would be awesome on some Mississippi Largemouth Bass!

I need some tips on that blue damsel. I have a spot where are thousands of those all summer, and they give all of our finny friends a very fine buffet.

Well, one tip I would give you is ...you see the foam under the thorax...and Wes did it too...that gives a much better chance of the fly landing upright...also note we are using furled extended bodies...make the body to the length that matches your local damsels.

I tie and use damsels and dragons a lot. I've done the extended furled bodies quite a few times but I like this material best for damsels, especially the smaller ones. http://www.jsflyfishing.com/cgi-bin/...ody-Braid.html

Bigger dragons usually always get a FEB 'tail'.

I also like using a foam back, but over a dubbed abdomen (blue yarn chopped in a coffee grinder), or an abdomen of a few wraps of blue chenille.

Nice! I have had tremendous luck with a damsel nymph fly around here... You won't be disappointed.
