    Uncle Jesse,
    I'm not quite that old.

    Eric,

Used to make model rockets when I was in Junior High (Grade 7,8, and 9) also using drilled out CO2 cartridges as motors. Last night I watched a program on the LDRS meeting in California (Large Dangerous Rocket Ships). Man, have things changed over the years. We were lucky to get a couple hundred feet into the air, those guys were getting as high as a commercial air liner could fly.

    Great hobby.

Happiness is wading boots that never have a chance to dry out.

Joe, you and I are pretty close in age I believe. Us old guys have to give each other the "business" the young folks are afraid they will hurt our feeling.

I saw a presentation by a black powder shooter, who had purchased individual components, and built a Kentucky long rifle using a maple limb from his neighbor's storm damaged tree seasoned in his attic as stock materials. Beautiful gun.

check out what 1,600 pounds of 1/10th scale model Saturn V does. BTW the real Sarun V stood 363 feet tall making this model 36.3 feet tall!

The wonderful things America is capable of are amazing when our leaders lead instead of holding us down.

Here is my Traditons Hawken .50 cal flint lock:

Previously owned two Thompson Center Arms Renegade flint locks one a .54 cal and tho other a .50 cal. Loved them both. Hard to beat the great T/C quality but for the money the Traditions is really hard ot beat.
