Sorry I'm late Joe, but Happy Birthday anyway. Now go drop a hammer. That new toy looks like a lot of fun.

Thanks to all of you since my last post. I did get the "TOY" out to the range today and was only able to use the 50 yard range with the red dot. The 100 is just too far with a dot, and the base on my 3x9 does not fit on the Hi-Point's rail system. Getting some new rings and bases at the gun show on Saturday. On the 50 yard range I was able to put a 5-shot group inside 3", which is more than acceptable with a red dot. Also, the battery was low, since "somebody" forgot to turn it off last night after playing with it and putting it back in the case. Stopped at Wally World and got TWO new lithium batteries so I have a backup in the case.

We had a lot of rain and some hail overnight, so the rivers are all chocolate milk. It will take a few days to clear to where we can go fishing, but I have the 7wt out and I need to tie some olive wooly buggers in a couple of sizes, if I remember how to tie. Hopefully I'll get out sometime early next week to see if I remember how to fish as well. It's been a long, dry spell. Even the perch fishing off the boat has been difficult with high waves on Lake Erie and muddy conditions out to 50' depths where the perch are laying.

Thanks, again for all your well wishes. Yoos guys are da best!

Thanks Mark. We have open carry in Ohio, so it's all good. LOL Going to look for a reloading kit at the gun show tomorrow. With 4 10-round magazines, I sure can use up the ammo. It's time to utilize some of that brass I have laying around...about 500-600 cases.
