I woud still have the same problem. I think it is happening at the Regional Office in Chattanooga. All the mail from everywhere around here, even from one side of the city to another, goes through there. Last month, I even drove all the way to Chatsworth, Ga. (30 miles away) to mail them, and my package was still pilfered. I have notified my elected officials about the problem, but who knows how long it will take to get any action...if ever?

I'll have them on the way by Fed-Ex first thing Monday. I wasn't able to send them yesterday because I couldn't get over to them in time.

Next time, I'm not even going to bother trying to mail them. I'll just go UPS or Fed-Ex from the git-go.

I wonder, if I deduct all these extra costs for not being able to use the USPS from my Income Tax, if that might get some attention?

Once again, I apologize for the delay.

I can't win! I sent the flies by Fed-Ex on the 6th. I hadn't heard that they had been received, so I just checked the tracking number.

For some reason, the flies are sitting in Henderson, Co. and have been there since 0500 on the 11th! I have no idea what's going on. I just can't get a break, no matter what.

Fed-Ex is going to receive a scathing phone call from me this morning, and a request for a refund. I don't know what's happening to our carrier services, but it seems they are all going to the dogs.

Actually, that's not true either. I get much better service from my dogs.

If anyone want's to check the progress of the flies, the tracking number is 684041160246309.

What really upsets me is that my wife misunderstood me, and sent two other sets of flies for two other swaps, on the same day, by US mail, instead of Fed-Ex, and they have all been received.

Next month, I think I'll just fire up the Tracker, hit the road, and hand-deliver the flies myself.

I understand your pain Gigmaster. My local Fed-Ex sometimes leaves something to be desired, since they have contracted out their delivery to private contractors. (Just delays in general normally.)

Hugefish, tried to reply to your PM, but your box was full, so I'll post it here.

Sorry. I haven't received the flies yet. Generally speaking my mail service is very reliable. Sorry, for the lack of replies, work and the weekend kept me extremely busy the past few days. I am a web developer at a community college, and our semester started up 2 weeks ago. So I've been really busy with work.

I'll send the second set immediately. The package was pretty full and I wonder if that didn't have something to do with it. I'll include a smaller portion of goodies this time.

FishnFool, not showing your flies yet either. Did they get out?

    Thanks,

This is odd. I've never had any mail issues before...

I don't feel so bad now. It seems that I am not the only one that has issues with the USPS.

What is going on with them????????
