    Default Wichita guys, again...

    ROR-EYE, greenlantern, Wes, ol'blue, etc....

I'm planning on heading out to Harvey Co. East lake tonight after work. Give me a shout on this thread if you plan to come, and we can meet by the park office at the boat ramp about 7-ish. If the rain holds off, it should be a nice evening!

Man I wish I could- my hours at work got changed this week, so I'm up earlier than before and it's whippin' me good. I'd love to read a report though.

Man, I hear ya! Next time...

I'm gonna take a cooler with some ice and see about cooling a few fish off.

Caught around 20 fish tonight between 7pm and 9pm. Kept 11 fat male bluegills! First gills I've ever brought home with me. Lunch tomorrow should be good!

I think they've got a couple beds in this one spot... Gonna let it sit for a few days and go back. Nobody fishes that place for bluegills. I had an older gentleman come watch me catch fish tonight. Just kicked back on the grass behind me and chatted. Good conversation, and a darn good time.

Sorry I missed it. You'll like lunch today!

I agree about the beds. I think they are just starting to go to their beds, so we are getting close to some hot action!

Right on Zac! I'm glad you got into the 'gills! I should have pulled out a louder alarm clock and gone last night too. Were they big enough for fillets?

Yes sir! Fried 'em up this afternoon for lunch (short work day)... Wonderful! I just can't wait to get out again. I'm finishing up some swap flies right now and then it's leeches and hares ears for a few days. Gotta get stocked up for the fish-in!

I tied a few up last night, too. Did a couple of hare's ears, and some mini zonker leeches, and a yellow and black that I've had luck with in the past. The Fish-in is only 3 weeks away.
