Thanks guys! With modern technology we will not have to move to PA. Her lectures will be via Skype; the cool thing is that when she is done she will have a normal law degree from PSU. There is no difference between doing it that way and attending the classes in person.

Heartiest congratulations to your wife. Ain't no dummies accepted at Penn State. I assume you will NOT be commuting since your current residence and PSU are about 1600 miles twixt each other. But.If you visit the area, do bring fishin stuff. It may not be Idaho, but it sure ain't Peoria

PS: But as I read the letter again, I see it's the "outreach World" campus and you will not need to travel further than your keyboard .

Congrats to the wife and you. I agree that flowers and dinner for her should be an order of the day.

If she is going to the main campus then you will be visiting in some of the best fly fsihing territory inthe U.S. Here is a great fly shop right there in town:

    and another

Want some really finicky fish? then you want to hit "the paradise" or Spring Creek:

You are also an easy drive from Penn's Creek, The Little Juniata Creek, Black Moshannon Creek and State Park, Bald Eagle Creek and Lake, really just tons of great fly fishing.

Make certain to take the wife on a tour of Penn's Cave. You guys will love it.

    Congratulations!

Congrats to your wife! Newtothefly is right, Penn State is very near some great trout streams in the state e.g., Spring Creek, Fishing Creek, Penns Creek and Penn State used to offer courses on fly fishing. I assume they still do. Best wishes to both of you.

    Thanks guys!!!!

What makes it even better is that with technology we won’t have to leave Idaho Lectures will be via Skype etc. and her degree will be no different than if we moved there. In addition we will be able to attend the graduation in PA when she is finished.
