Washing my vest

Yes, I wash my vest. There is no such thing as Luck, Karma, Mojo or fishing Gods who prefer smelly dirty vests or hats either. I catch the same number of fish in my clean vest as I do when it gets a little ripe. There is no honor or merit badge in filth & stench. Do you guys pray to the underwear Gods too?? EEEEEEWWWW!!!

Now you have gone and ticked them off, you won't catch fish on your next outing. Or worse yet you will forget your camera, be fishing in catch and release waters and catch the biggest fish of your life time and no one will believe you.

Actually, I wash all my hats, even the fishing hat. Some luck is best washed away.

I never really thought about washing it. However, I just transfered all of my "stuff" from the vest to a Fishpond pack (for comfort in warmer months) and since it's empty - washing it doesn't sound like a bad idea. Thanks Jill!!

Honestly, it has never even occurred to me to wash it. I'm sure it needs it. Guess I'll have to do it now.

I need to wash my vest again. It's poly/cotton. Typically I just toss it in the washing machine on cold and gentle and machine dry it on low. It's made by Columbia and that's what the care tag suggests.

Any other suggestions for washing and caring for my vest?

I won't be fishing for a couple of months but am definitely chomping at the bit.
