    Hide,
Those look great! I've been looking around but the only thing I found are the faceted 'jewels' like you mentioned.

by the way, check your PM's.

Thanks Bass_Bug. I'm looking forward to seeing if a fish will eat them. I saw a hatch coming of in a slack spot today. We're getting closer.

    Hide,
I was at Hobby Lobby Saturday and no dice on those solid eyes in ANY size. I'm not even sure now where I got my 5mm eyes.

I'm working on a possibility right now, bug. These danged dremel flies are addicting.

I used some 4mm I have on a hopper pattern I'm working on and I thought they really looked good....but I think the 3mm would be even better...I can't find any locally either.

I found them on ebay with almost free shipping. That was a couple of years ago.

This is an interesting pattern, thanks for your post. What size are the bodies? Are you using one size for panfish and a larger size for bass fishing?

Tim - these are tied on a #6 Aberdeen. Haven't tied any "bass size" yet but I'm still learning.

here's a link that gives the blow by blow.
