Tom, great article. Brought back fond, yet painful memories of my beginner days on the Box Canyon. I was fairly new to flyfishing, and completely new to nymphing. It was strictly tight-line, no indicators then. We fished the rocks near where the new powerplant is located and I caught some fish on Bitch Creek nymphs my friend had tied. I was hooked for sure, but I sure came home a mess. Holes in my jacket, blood on my scalp and some painful bruises, all in the name of learning how to 'lob' a weighted nymph-rig. Great memories for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Kelly.
