ol' blue I would like to join. The club that belong to in Lawrence " home of the #1 ranked Jayhawks" has a member that has come up with a nice crappie fly. The fly is called "Sarge's crappie fly" watching the member fish with his fly he seem's to slaughter the crappie/bluegill.
I've decided to tie a "Bluegill Chow".... My version of DG's "Trout Chow" fly.
Hook: Mustad C068 wet/nymph caddis
Thread: Red 8/0 Uni
Tail: chartreuse floss
Body: dark olive chenille, medium
Collar: partridge
I use brown/olive varigated, brown, and several other colors of chenille for this fly. Dark colors seem to work best.

Love to join in. This my first swap and sounds fun. I've fished for these panfish for 40+ yrs. and tied flies for ~25 years. If you don't mind I'll tie an Alpaca dart.
Everyone is in, and we have 4 spots left.
