    They are only a buck fifteen, so I wouldn't expect alot....

    yes true... i got them for bass (never fished for bass before and were cheap) and i have never used them, trip fell through, and didnt want to not use them.

    Poppers, hair bugs, mice, dahlberg divers, sliders: they all work for trout under the right circumstances in stillwaters and rivers.

    ive caughten a few by popping a humpy fly, im guessing to the same affect as a popper. you also might want to try a bobby fly, apparently they work well in still waters

    I've had 'em hit strike indicators. Sure, they'll hit a #8 or 10 yellow popper.

    I get them on Gartside Gurglers and Morrish Mouse flies at night. Give your poppers a try. As far as color goes...at night...anything, as long as it's black. #4's

    I also like using George Harvey's Pusher (Night) Fly. #2 - 2/0 They leave a nice wake.
