Caribbean Fishing Advice Needed
In late March my wife and I will be taking a Caribbean cruise and I've talked her into taking a day for herself at the spa so she can be thoroughly pampered, as she deserves! Since I'll have the day to myself, I thought I'd get a guide and do some fly fishing. Other than that one day I may be able to get in a few hours only on one other afternoon. We will be putting in at Barbados, Dominica, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Maarten and St Thomas.
So the questions are:
1) if you were going to hire a guide for a fly fishing trip (looking for Bones, Permit, Tarpon ideally, but anything in the salt that is on the larger size (5 lbs +) and fights well is certainly acceptable) which island would you choose?
2) If you just had a couple of hours to fish along the shore by yourself which island would you do that on?
The rest of the time will be spent doing couple things since it our anniversary cruise.
