thats one of them new fangaled fly reels actually holds monofiliment ROTFLMAO. Naw that was my first ever steelhead trip and the guide suggested I start with the regular rods for the day and then with experience under my belt we would switch to fly rods. This Oct 28th I will be up there again with the same guide fly rods only trying for the metal heads. My goal is 30 steelhead this year and with 5 under my belt I have a good start. By the way the guide was so nice that when I go up there if he has nothing gong on he will fish the bank with fly rods with me at no charge.
