    Check out the Elkhorn 7'6" 4 wt 5pc
    [url=http://www.elkhornflyrods.com/store/Details.cfm?ProdID=90&category=15:3758d]http://www.elkhornflyrods.com/store/Details.cfm?ProdID=90&category=15[/url:3758d]

    They list for $206 and are often at the shows for $160 with reel. I will probably buy another Elkhorn this January at the Show in Marlboro, MA.

    Another vote for the Cabelas Stowaway 5 pce.
    I have two of them 4wt & 8wt
    The Cabelas Money back return policy is another good reason to buy Cabelas.
    Buy the combo and get 2 hard rod cases, reel . line and leader as well.
    Cheers

    I use the Cabela's Stowaway, Redington Wayfarers (own two), March Brown Ltd, Browning Blacksmith Fork, Yellowstone and a Winston Ibis as my main backpacking and motorcycling rods. I like them all but I usually take two rods when I travel. Rod selection depends on the area I will be fishing.

    Almost forgot a detail: About a year and a half ago I had get rid of some Bass Pro points or lose them so I purchased a Browning Blacksmith Fork 8 wt. travel rod. It's fairly inexpensive and I didn't know what to expect but that rod pleasantly surprised me. It's now my main carp rod. I found it easy to cast and tough as nails on a big fish.

    One more vote for Cabela's 5-piece Stowaway. I have a 4-weight, and love it.
