    Hey Allan,

I guess as was said, you are a prime
example of a Catskill Fly Tyer. Someone
who is wrapped up in the tradition and
history of the patterns and takes pleasure
from fishing the same waters with the same
    patterns, containing the same intracacies
applied by the original tyers. Being caught
up in the history of the flies and doing
your level best to perpetuate that history.
I have a box of your catskill ties and there
is no doubt what so ever in my mind that
YOU are a Catskill Fly Tyer, and a very
accomplished one at that. But alas, I do
not know if there is any cure for this
    affliction once infected.*G* Warm regards,
    Jim

I would assume ,That this tyer would tye soley catskill pattern's barring ALL others.

That said I am glad I'm not one...lol..as I love tinking in the non purist persuits...lol...oh yeah, He'd be the PUREST of the PURE!!!..cat gut and cane all the way in his fishing! and I guess the only source on earth for a real silk line..as he'd be the only one making those...lol... J/K.. perhaps! He might be stuck in the greenhart era of rods... Not all that educated of those exact times and the exact equipment available to the Fly fisher of that period.

If it's Catskill-Fly Tier, it's some one who ties Catskill Flies. If it's Catskill Fly-Tier, it's some one in the Catskills who ties flies.

    Allan, RW here

Now I know why the English language includes the word semantics.
