    Default USD fly

I am looking for a pattern called the USD fly, I believe I first saw it on this site. Can't seem to find it now. It's basically a reverse parachute fly, with the post tied on the bend of the hook. Anyone know where I can find this??? The pattern has been working well for me, especially in skinny and flat water, been out producing the standard parachute big time.

Do a search for Roy Christie's flies online. He's the master of upside down flies, currently. He's a great tier and a all around good person.

Soft-hackle is exactly right. He is a great guy and will help you any way he can. I know this first hand!

While not an upside down pattern, this one has the parachute hackle on the bend of the hooks. It has proven to be a great pattern for me dressed as a BWO. It is also a Roy Christie pattern (Thanks Roy). You can find a detailed step-by-step set of instructions at http://ukflydressing.proboards.com/i...ead=655&page=1 . Hope this is of some help.

I'm hoping for a well-illustrated book to be published...
