    THIRTY BUCKS !!

I would have paid a lot more than that. Could have fished that fly forever without beating it up.

    The fish are always right.

No. It was already sold when I looked at it. I was surprised it sold for 30 bucks! I haven't done it, but Google "Amber Fossils" and see what you come up with.

Even amber wouldn't protect the fly from my casting and fishing, I would have hung the amber bug well out of reach in the nearest tree where it would not be seen for the next 45 million year.

BTW, did anyone else see a very predatory looking pair of legs along the top side and edge of that amber? I may be mistaken but..... 8T

    Default No Insects

Hi Nighthawk: I didn't find any on that site that contain insects. Am I looking in the wrong place?

If you just search amber you can find a whole host of insects. Great find DShock. Found a mayfly in amber...http://cgi.ebay.com/Nice-MAYFLY-Incl...3%3A1|294%3A50

Bit more than your caddis but still amazing!
