  1. Default Tibor Reels

Anybody ever use these in the Spring Creek or Tail Water size? They look pretty cool...haven't seen one in person...yet.

I have used one a few times and must say they are top notch reels all the way. Not cheap but very well made in my book. Ron

It looks like they have an interesting drag system...literally like a brake.

I have a pair of Tibor Back Country Wides and a Back Country. Love 'em for striped bass. I wouldn't use them for albies or tarpon

    Hi,
I don't have the SC or TW, but do have the Backcountry, at firs was a bit sceptic about it's drag wich is more like an anti overrun+, until I really took it out fishing, and it is a wonderfull light reel, I caught a big cuda on it while I was bonefishing last month that really tested that "drag" and its very good indeed...
I guess the SC and TW are fine too

Everything Ted (Tibor) Juracsik makes is first class. Love the Tibor reels.

I have a green colored "Spring Creek." It has, if you will, both great style and that nysterious thing called "panache." Not to mention superb construction. It's an instant classic!
