    yep got mine yesterday too. THANKS!!! its some cool stuff, though not quite the texture i expected. i figured bear fur would be very thick, but the grizzly, though very coarse was a much thinner coat than i would have thought.
    thanks again though

    Realize the pieces are trimmed from the edge of bear skin rugs, in process, not the ridge of the back... Bear hair has many textures depending on where it grows. I have shot black bears with hair 10" long at the top of the shoulders...

    Do not overlook the underfur for dubbing that is really translucent and buggy.

    I apologize to the last few folks looking for some. I thought I had more than I did. I may get more if it is available the next time I stop in the shop, but there is no guarantee.

    If you let her open what I am sending you this week you will never see it again!
    The Frawgs are still at the tadpole stage but will be hatching soon.

    That tip on using the under hair as dubbing is a good one as I have been chucking it out when I am tailing Blue Meanies. It will be Black Bear hair chronimids from now on!

    Hap;

    Thanks a lot. I got my package today. Nice looking hair, never tried bear before. I do tie some tandem hook streamers for trolling. I think this will work nicely.

    Thanks Again

    What a surprise. Many thanks for the pieces of fur/hair. When I tie some flys with it, I'll name them the "Hap Benelovant". Thanks again
