    Yes Duck, It does land right side up most of the time when it doesn't give it a good twitch and it should right itself. I have had a few bigger trout chase it but no takes yet. John

    I have been using this material for nymph bodies with great success. Give it a try.

    Thanks , John.

    Gardenfish, how about starting a new thread on how you do the nymphs ....some pictures , etc.
    Do you cut the material on the angle [like the ant pattern] or perpendicular [like John does]?

    BTW, all shelf liner is not created equal...what we are dealing with here is the larger stuff...and the patterns can vary.

    I can't seem to find this pattern in a smaller version...which I'd like for a damsel imitation.

    I've also been thinking of using the material for eyes...but haven't yet since I use punched flip flop foam so far when I want lite wt. eyes.
