The nicest thing I ever won and it has only been tied for nicest three times is......My wife's heart and then tied by the hearts of our three sons... Damn I am a lucky man.....

Other then that $89 from the lottery, and a folding Knife from the TU dinner ...

2006 My name was drawn at our Oregon Hunters Association Christmas Dinner for $350 towards a firearm, optics or archery equipment. I had promised my 15 yr old son Mark a new big game rifle if I was ever drawn. He jumped up in the middle of the meeting and yelled "I get a new rifle". I picked out a Howa 7mm-08 and custom reloaded his ammo. This elk season (200, he harvested his first elk and first kill with one shot. I think I was more excited than he was.

My luck runs something like this: At a local fly Expo banquet last spring, I sat at a table with five others, and three of them (on either side of me) won prizes. A guided float trip, a nice fly reel (forgot the name), and a $900 pontoon boat. That's the story of my winning streak.

A couple of years ago I won a kayak at our chapter TU banquet raffle. No other major winnings in my life.

I won a Winston BXII 9' 5wt at the PSFF meeting last spring. I also won $500 at a casino after putting in 50 cents. This was the day before an annual fishing trip.
