I get some at my local flea market that cost $2 bucks a pair and they are pretty darn sharp and have very fine tips. Don't know where he gets them but they work great for me.

While Dr. Slick's are really nice (the psychodellic ones for all you old Grateful Dead Hippies),
you end up paying for the name. Better to go to a good medical supply and get surgical scissors (even the fine tips).

I went thru a few Dr Slicks and then bought Anvil and Tiemco. Whoa, what a difference. Ya pay for the name with Slick.

Walmart has titanium scissors for about $4. They work fine for me.

I like Dr. slick tungsten 4" scissors, I use Ghinger nips for smaller work.

I'm wondering how many scissors you've been through and what you are cutting with them. It sounds to me like you must be making sheet metal spoons. Have you been stringing barbed wire again? 8T
