I picked up quiet a few items off of ebay some time ago...but my guess would be probably $20.00 for components.

How would you feel if I asked for a couple of the blanks? For the price, I thought I might build one for the swap and one for project healing waters.
If it is acceptable to Kaboom to order a couple of extra blanks, I would put a bug in the ear of anyone else who might consider doing the same.

I would like it if I could also get 2 of the blanks as I would like to build 1 for a young person in my fly tying classes. If it is possible to get 2. Thanks John
I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.

Sorry for the long delay in any news, but I have been shopping around for the blanks and one of our sponsors has come through.

I e mailed Ron at Hook and Hackle to see if he could get the blanks. Please understand, he does not normally stock the blank we are using. He replied that he could get them for us at $11.00 each. I also asked about a component kit for $25.00 or less and he said that it would not be a problem also. He is still trying to nail down an exact cost for the component kit.
Ron is a great guy to deal with and I encourage you to give him a shot for your rod building needs. He will go the extra mile, all you have to do is ask.

I will be starting a new thread tonight for the official sign-up for the swap. I will leave the sign-up open for 2 weeks. We will then know how many blanks and component kits we will need and I should have a better handle on all costs including shipping the blanks to you.

    Stumbled on to this one!

What fun! Would like to get in on this one, and would like to order two blanks! Anxious to see what H&H comes up with in the component line. I've wanted to do one of these little rods since seeing Jim's, but hadn't "found" the time yet. This way I'll make the time!

Shot off an e mail to Ron at Hook and Hackle last night. I am hoping for a response this week as to the cost of the component kits. I will let you know...

    Kaboom
If it's not too late I'd like to get in on this swap.
Let me know what to do next as far as paying goes.
I've got components and just turned some reel seat inserts that are looking for a home.
