    Hi guys, just to share a couple of minnow I recently tied hope you like them

    Very interesting! I wonder how that green one would do if the body were jointed (for more wiggle in the water). Looks great as is. Thanks for the pics.

    How do you tie on, make the fins? Any way, great flies. Do you use them for carp?

    Thwack, I have been thinking about making i jointed hehehe but havent figured out how.

    Ken, to tie the fins, you have to cut them from true skin and leave a small tag on each side of the fin for the dorsal and just oena tag for the others, to this tag you tie small mono sections and then you tie the mono to the hook and then you can tie and place the Krystal hair for the body, then you cover the whole thing with liquid body

    Great job. They should do well.


    Here are a few of my minnow patterns.





    I also make minnows out of Hot Glue, Gorilla Glue, and Lee Press-On Fingernails.
