    Toby,
My flies are done. I'm also sending you the flies I owe you from our bet and a couple of extras.

Managed to get the flies in the mail to Toby this morning. Here is the recipe for the pattern I tied. It is a pattern by Donald V. Roberts and appeared in his 1978 book titled 'Flyfishing Still Waters'.

    Public Enemy #1

    Hook: 2xl #14
    Thread: Brown 6/0
    Tail: Grizzly hackle fibers
Abdomen: Stripped grizzly hackle quill (stripped quill was my assigned material)
    Thorax: Peacock herl
    Beard/legs: Fine deer hair
Emerger wings: Short grizzly hackle tips slightly longer than thorax

    * Abdomen & thorax are applied over a weighted, tapered underbody.
