All right...mine are done I'll try and package them up and ship in the next day or two....I switched my soft hackle to the B & P a great little pattern that I use as a dropper.

Sometimes a crowd can be the loneliest place
Casey,
Thanks for the update. I'll be looking for them.
Quick reminder to those with flies still out, time is getting short. Due in date is May 15th.

my flies are tied and in the box--off to the PO tomorrow. the Blue Wing Raffle was quite a challenge because as far as i could find, God only put those blue wings on one bird: a wild Mallard drake.
i won the prototype in a raffle at our local TU, and the guy who ran it could only say it came out of a shop that closed years ago. the rest of the flies in the box looked English. i lost two of the three i had chasing little bass in the pond, so i began to hunt for the ingredients. after a lot of research and asking questions on the web, i learned that the wing was from a waterfowl. i bought a pair of Mallard wings on the 'net, but they didn't have the right texture or enough color. then circumstances gifted me the wings from a wild Mallard drake, and bingo! soft, dark iridescent blue, and gray on the back side.
thanks to Ron EE for running the swap and giving me another reason to buckle down, find the stuff, and tie these things. when Ron posts the photos, if anyone recognizes the fly and can tell us its real name and where it came from, please post!
fly fishing and baseball share a totally deceptive simplicity; that's why they can both be lifelong pursuits.
CaseyP,
Thanks for the heads up. Looking forward to seeing that Blue Raffle myself.
Cholcomb13's flies arrived while I was at the CWFI (Great time, by the way). Great looking flies.
Feenom's flies are in the Postal System somewhere.
CaseyP,
Your flies arrived today. Both very well dressed, but that blue wing raffle is a great looking fly.

My Flies should arrive in time. On the way.
Thanks RDL. Hope your little one is doing better.

Well, Guys, the flies will not go out on the 16th as planned, they are going out about noon on the 15th. Everyone's flies are in, divided up, photo'd, and waiting for the Post Office to open.
I'll post the pics after a couple hours of sleep (well, okay 8 hours or so).
The flies all looked great and all in early. Congrats on a great job!!
