    Default white sparkle bugger

I made this size 10 beadhead bugger. its white hackle ,white marabou, and kinda hard to see in the pic but instead of regular white chenille I used white and pearl flash speckled chenille. maybe it could imitate a baitfish? also made size 8. will make some more later.

White can be an awesome color at times for trout. Great for crappie!

    Anyways, Nice tie!!

Who knows what A woolly bugger imitates, but it sure does work!!!!

I tie a white bugger with a silver bead and griz hackle. I am looking for a small baitfish imitation. I tie it from size 6 to 12 on a 2 or 3XL hook. Pearl crystal chenille, white marabou tail with a little pearl and black crystal flash.

Another thing to make the fly more visible.

Use an Aqua blue background or even black to really make white flies or tan for that matter really stand out.

    Fishaholic 69 -

Last winter a friend of mine gave me a fly very similar to that one - the differences are it was tied on a size 6 4X long streamer hook, has a conehead rather than a beadhead, a light ginger chenile instead of white, and a light ginger hackle instead of white, and a bit shorter and sparser hackle.

Last March, I took a 23" brown on the South Fork of the Snake with that fly. The friend who gave it to me, took a 28" brown on that pattern on the South Fork about a month later a couple miles downstream from where I got mine. This fall, another friend of his took a 31" brown on the same fly several miles upstream from mine.

Enough said about light colored wooly bugger style minnows !!??
