Jim I wondered where you have been --knew about your lake water of course, sad that you are putting things away for a while. Do stay on FAOL.

Knowing how you do things and going again into RC I expect to meet you some day competeing in Muncie Indiana less than a hour away. Academy of Model Aeronautics headquarters have the big meets each year. It's really big locally with a field outside of town where I've watch every thing from WW1 byplane dogfights to 4 engine B17's and B 24 flying. BILL

    Folks,
I talked to Jim Hatch last night & he's doing ok, & I have to agree that it would be hard to get motivated to post when you can't fish. Jim said the water is down so far (he guesses 10-11 feet) that you can't launch a boat on Moultrie (Jim's home lake). As I said to him, I would think (hope & pray too) that the "powers that be" down there would fabricate some temporary ramps or come up with something that would allow launching. He also said they do not expect any help from the weather this year.
That being said, he'll hang in there, I'll keep in touch with him, & I figure he'll be back at some point. In the meantime, he's feeling fine, doing the RC thing, & thoroughly enjoying his young Grandson, Drake. I did tell Jim he has to keep that boat so he can share a seat some day with that little guy.

Exclamation Really suprised to see this....

Was just sitting reading the paddling board and thought to myself, Wonder why I've not seen any post's from Jim of late, Clicked his name as the bottom where it has him listed as moderator....Got his profile up, Learned a few thing's I had not known of him there!...Then clicked where it says "see recent post's by this user"...and this was the first on the list....

How in the world I'd missed this thread, I'll prolly never know...Must have been the Holiday's....I'd just like to extend our heart felt wishes to Jim...I've thought I'd seen drought condition's around here...Till I seen the pic Jim posted...Wow...Can't even imagine that level of drought...Hope the rain's relieve you of this soon...Jim, If you don't already know this, Tower Hobbies has an awesome selection of R/C model's..!

I've always wanted to try, Tying a leader to one of their Model Race boats and see how big a fish I could land with it!!!....All our best,The Knepp Clan
