yes it can, I don't know the name but others will.

Also, Cut down the brush to about half its normal size and it will help for applying it to small flies.

I add one drop at a time of Testor Model Paint Thinner to Sally until I get the consistency I want. But I have to be careful not to add too much at one time. This may take some time between applications until Sally starts to flow so there is not immediate results. I just move the bottle around to watch the flow of Sally in the bottle.

I just use the little woman's nail polish remover. (acetone)

Thanks guys. I like to use Sallys for my smallest midge bodys. The small flys last longer and the nail polish really bring out the color body and the ribbing. When you get down to size 24's or smaller the nail polish is a little to thick.

Sally Hansen also has a nail polish thinner that comes with an eye-dropper for ease of use.

I cut the brush off my SH top and heated a needle (eye end) to insert into
the plastic of the brush 'handle'. So whenever I open the bottle the needle is ready to apply the cement. Its great for the travel
tying kit too.

Hi guys, All your posted replies are good but recall that LACQUER THINNER from your hardware store is much less expensive than the other stuffs, about 1/4 the price by the quart. You can also thin Sally Hansen's a little beyond normal to make it form smaller droplets on a bodkin for more delicate applications on small flies and penetrate more deeply.
Note also that you can thin epoxy with it, within limits. It will clean small brushes and even clean up uncured epoxy messes if you don't wait too long.. I can't live without it in the shop.
