Swap Addiction

This is just a simple survey, to see how many on FAOL are swap addicts. How many swaps have you entered on FAOL and how many flies have you tied for swaps since 1-1-07. Do not include flies you have tie for yourself.

I usually tie my swap flies up with in a day of joining a swap.

I myself have entered 50 swaps so far this year for a total of 1004 flies.

It might be simpler to ask how many swaps that you have NOT joined! You are what I would call a "Tying Machine." Keep up the good work.

oops--a day late and a dollar short as usual...4 swaps on this site since re-joining last summer: A Little Bit of Summer, Wet Flies and Flymphs, New Tiers, Too Simple. more than 5 dozen flies tied for them in all--not counting the ones i razored when they got wonky.

as a not-quite-beginner-anymore i enjoy swaps and learning and sharing patterns a lot. in the new year i hope to host a swap that i've not seen offered and can't find in searching this site. it would use a material commonly available seasonally to many tiers; those without resources would be able to find some from patient friends.
