That being said, i apologize to the other guys for not being more prompt with a post concerning the recipe for my Sponge-Duster Minner (streamer for the more refined)
Hook: 1/0 aberdeen
Thread: Spun polyester sewing medium green
Tail: ExtraHands vinyl disposable gloves
Body: Scrub buddies sponge cut tapered 3/8wX1/4hX7/8L (white)
Overbody/uppertail: Synthetic duster from dollar store (green)
Adhesive: Loctite Plumber & marine adhesive and sealant (Goop)
So far I have caught LMB, catfish, and skip jack herring on these flies. I have added lead eyes to some to go after striped bass. i may also lengthen the tail and use a stronger hook.
