Sorry about the accident Jamie, but it is good to hear that you are doing so much better. I think that all will agree that our prayers are with you for a full and complete recovery.

That being said, i apologize to the other guys for not being more prompt with a post concerning the recipe for my Sponge-Duster Minner (streamer for the more refined)

    Hook: 1/0 aberdeen
Thread: Spun polyester sewing medium green
    Tail: ExtraHands vinyl disposable gloves
Body: Scrub buddies sponge cut tapered 3/8wX1/4hX7/8L (white)
Overbody/uppertail: Synthetic duster from dollar store (green)
Adhesive: Loctite Plumber & marine adhesive and sealant (Goop)

So far I have caught LMB, catfish, and skip jack herring on these flies. I have added lead eyes to some to go after striped bass. i may also lengthen the tail and use a stronger hook.

I was impressed by the ingenuity of you folks in this swap this, being my first. Good Luck

    [

I never did place my recipe for my fly so here it is .....
The eyes are bead chain from a old light . the body is made from those dusters that are made to attract dust.
Thanks again for everyone turning in a great fly and making my first swap hosting a success
