    It's a canoe, I have to get it wet.

    I'm concidering Trout only from this one and save the bass fishing for the old fiberglass canoe .

    Beautiful job. I really like your use of the natural grains and colors of the wood to make that wonderful pattern. I know how much sanding you had to do to get it that smooth. (Bin dere done dat ) Now as for going trout fishing and having a slimly old trout flop around in the bottom of the canoe .... hmmm ..... I don't know about that. LOL. It looks like C&R is the solution. Enjoy your new toy, you have sure earned it.

    YES! Install protective netting so the fish bounce off back into the Drink!

    I suggest putting a mini trampoline over the length of the canoe except the seat.. So that like doug said they just bounce right back out!
