    It wasn't an expensive rod, just a Forecast 4 piece that I built. I just felt kind of guilty about sanding it, even though I did a pretty good job of it. It looked prettier before sanding it, so I sort of regret doing it.

    Thanks for sharing that experience! I'm very sure that most of us have never thought of sanding a rod and so your story will be a good example for us.
