Aftershaft, do you think your flies might have been lost in the mail? it has been a while since you sent them. Just wondering

Sorry - PO was closed when I got off work yesterday. They'll go out at lunchtime today.

    BWO Hackle Spinners
Hook: Size 16 dry fly hook (I used Orvis "big eye" hooks)
Thread: I used 6/0 brown Orvis - but olive or black will work fine
    Tail: Microfibbets
Body: Olive dyed stripped hackle quill - I like to build up a thread underbody in order to get the right taper with the quill
Wing: med blue dun #2 hackle, one to two sizes larger (12-14), 5 - 6 wraps, tied off, pinched top and bottom, figure 8 with thread (you'll get it when you see it)
Thorax: Olive superfine or other dubbing

Whoever receives these, if you have questions or haven't tied with stripped quills, don't hesitate to PM me.

Luke - I was just about to tie up some more and ship them off before the 4th but realized I do not have the extra materials to include and am short on time any way.

Sorry about that! You'll have to remove me from the swap and perhaps find a replacement. If my flies and materials get to you after you've shipped out the swap, then enjoy them!

    JZ,

I checked, and back on the 19th of June you posted that you had received Aftershaft's flies.

Thanks REE... I thought Luke said he received them. I guess I didn't check every single page to see if he said so.
