making a list

I make a list also, because I don't want to have to go back to soon. The closest Fly shop is 75 miles away and its an Orvis Shop. Next closest I know of and can find is Bass Pro in Nashville, 150 miles away, and I don't want to forget anything.

Mark, there are 3 other fly shops in Nashville; Cumberland Transit, Fly South, & Game Fair Ltd. They each have their niche.

I really am impressed the way the Bro-in-law does it. No lists. He just grabs, grabs, grabs. Then when it's time to pay up, he just about craps himself. It is funny.

Each of the shops has its strong points. I think that Fly South has the best selection of Whiting hackle by far. They probably have the best selection of hair for wings. If I want to tye soft hackles, I go to Cumberland Transit for the feathers. Game Fair Ltd. is an Orvis authorised dealer. It has less tying material than the other shops, but pleasant surprises in their stock are common.
