    Dshock..

Ive been night fishing somewhere between 8-maybe 10 years...

6 hooks in the hand, 4 thumps in the back of the head (with a chuck and duck), countless beaver sughtings, 2 beaver hooked (long distance releases), 5 bats hooked and released, 1 big RIP in the croch of waders (that keeps you out of waist deep water), and 8 fall-ins....

    but...

countless fish... nights where Ive caught over 100 fish (in a 5 to6 hours).. night where Ive caught none..

Try RIO glow in the dark line. Hard to get now - you have to contact RIO direct. It works great for snook at night in FL or browns at night in Mich.

I muskie fish into the night on both the fly rod and regular tackle. It'll scare the beegeepers outa you when one come's in then erupts into either a take or just get surprised it'self and explodes boatside!!!

    Trust me.

Well I've night fished with regular gear a lot but never with a fly rod and critters at night really don't scare me that much. My thought is how the heck do you know where your fly is at and what's happening to it? I will try it this year though.

Yes I started this service last year... So far I dont think I have had any complaints... I can tell you I have had a few people walking away with the knowledge (the learning curve) of night fishing

Thanks Night Angler for the kind offer, but I doubt if I'll be getting up your way.

    hoboff,
We do some night pestering whenever the opportunity arises.
We do a lot of shooting head fishing. We find that the audible "spot" on the line is VERY handy at night. When we use a full line at night, we find a properly placed nailknot to be useful.
Hope it helps ya a wee bit.
